The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat 106-93 in Game 6 of the 2020 NBA Finals and became NBA champions for the 17th time in their history.
LeBron James was named Finals MVP after scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. He was born on December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio. He started playing in the NBA in 2003. In the past, he played for the Miami Heat and won two NBA championships with them in 2012 and in 2013. He also played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2003 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2018, where he won one NBA championship in 2016 against the Golden State Warriors. The Cavaliers had come back from a 3-1 deficit to win a historic title. LeBron Jams is a fantastic player who reached the NBA finals ten times and won four Finals MVP. He is the first player to be elected MVP with three different teams. He is considered one of the best players in NBA history. He is nicknamed “King James” or “The Chosen One”. At the end of the game, Anthony Davis, a Los Angeles Laker, said “We did it for Kobe” paying tribute to Kobe Bryant, the NBA legend. Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter died in a tragic helicopter accident on January 26th, 2020. He was 41 years old and he played twenty seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.
